Day One ~ Monday
Meet in Hobart at 10am and drive to our accommodation.
Accommodation for next four nights is at Villa Howden, luxury accommodation on the waterfront of Howden. Visiting Grandvewe Cheese, Birchs Bay for a hands on cheese making class, tasting and lunch cooked by Matt, using Grandvewe Cheese products and other locally sourced ingredients. Chocolate tasting at world famous Kettering Chocolate finishing the day with dinner at Villa Howden.
Day Two ~ Tuesday
An early start making our way down the South coast to Huon Valley, followed by lunch cooked by Matt using Tasmanian Salmon and local produce. Stopping at Willie Smith Apple Cider Orchard tour and cider tasting, with an apple inspired dessert, followed by Home Hill Winery for wine tasting. Then dinner cooked by Matt using locally sourced produce.
Day Three ~ Wednesday
Take the car ferry to Bruny Island to discover Bruny Island Oysters, Bruny Island Cheese, Bruny Island Smoke House and have an optional whisky flight tasting. Boat ride TBC.
Ferry back to mainland. Arrive back in Villa Howden to freshen up then leave for dinner in Hobart for a degustation dinner at “Smolt Restaurant.”
Day Four ~ Thursday
Leave Villa Howden and head inland towards the Coal River region.
Wicked Cheese for cheese tasting and morning tea, Puddle Duck Vineyard wine and salmon tasting. Lunch cooked by Matt using local produce. Off to richmond region with free time to discover the Historic Richmond Town before we arrive back to the Villa Howden we visit Mount Wellington. Dinnger tonight will be a 4 course dinner with Tasmanian cider and wine.
Day Five ~ Friday
Finish off with a long lunch in Hobart renowned seafood restaurant Mures.
Cost of $1750 per person twine share, single supplements can be arranged on request.
